Business proposal
Representing your office chairs in western Paraná
1Context
Okamoto Furniture wants to get into the office furniture stores of western Paraná, but has nobody in the region yet. As you told me, sales there only happen when a retailer calls, and freight on small orders eats into the margin.
2Solution
I will represent the chair line in the region's stores, with an in-person visit every 30 days and an agreed minimum order to fill a truckload. I already serve some of these stores with a line of desks, which does not compete with the chairs.
3Deliverables
- Monthly visit to the office furniture stores in Cascavel, Toledo and Foz do Iguaçu
- Presentation of the catalog and a showroom set of three models
- Orders entered in your system, respecting the minimum truckload
- Monthly report on visits, orders and lost orders with the reason
- Follow-up on delivery and on each store's first complaints
4Investment
6% commission on the invoiced and paid amount, with no monthly retainer. The showroom set is provided by Okamoto Furniture and kept in my care.
5Timeline
Start 30 days after the contract is signed, with the first round of visits completed within 45 days. Exclusivity in the region for 12 months, reviewed at the end of the period.
6Next step
If the proposal makes sense, send me the draft representation contract by the 15th so we can review it together.
